Xbox One X Enhancements Now for Skyrim and Fallout 4

Bethes­da released some more enhance­ments for two more titles today on Xbox One X. These free updates are for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, and Fall­out 4, which are among the 6 titles Bethes­da planned for enhancements.

Fall­out 4

• Sup­ports 4K Resolution
• Enhanced fea­tures include: 
  • Dynam­ic Resolution
  • Enhanced draw dis­tance for trees, grass, objects and NPCs
  • Enhanced God Ray effects

Skyrim

• Sup­ports 4K Resolution
• Enhanced fea­tures include: 
  • Dynam­ic Resolution

Bethes­da already released enhance­ments for their oth­er titles includ­ing, Wolfen­stein ΙΙ: The New Colos­sus, Dis­hon­ored 2 & Dis­hon­ored: Death of the Out­sider, The Evil With­in 2, and The Elder Scrolls Online. All of them (besides The Evil With­in 2) received sup­port for 4K resolution.

The Evil With­in 2’s 30 FPS lock was removed for the Xbox One X. All the oth­er games had more addi­tions includ­ed in enhance­ments, which you can see below:

Wolfen­stein II: The New Colossus

  • 30 fps lock removal

The Elder Scrolls Online

• Sup­ports Native 4K Res­o­lu­tion and HDR
• Enhanced fea­tures include: 
  • Increased view distance
  • Upgrad­ed shad­ows with Screen Space Ambi­ent Occlusion
  • Upgrad­ed water reflections
