Ubisoft’s 2018 E3 Round-Up

Ubisoft­’s E3 con­fer­ence showed off most of what peo­ple expect­ed to see through­out. How­ev­er, every­one was sur­prised to find out there was no new Splin­ter Cell. 

Just Dance 2019 

Again, Ubisoft start­ed off their show with a danc­ing pan­da, obvi­ous­ly to show­case their lat­est Just Dance game. 

Beyond Good and Evil 2

Anoth­er cin­e­mat­ic trail­er was shown for this pre­quel and the Beyond Good and Evil team made an impor­tant announce­ment regard­ing the devel­op­ment of their game.

Rainbow 6: Siege

Ubisoft announced it’s player­base for Rain­bow Six reached 35 mil­lion play­ers, despite being in the mar­ket for a cou­ple of years. They also announced there have been ten sea­sons since the games launch.

To cel­e­brate, Ubisoft will pre­mier a doc­u­men­tary about Siege’s com­mu­ni­ty, titled “Anoth­er Mind­set”, dur­ing their eSports event in Paris. There will be two more Siege com­pet­i­tive scenes, includ­ing Pro League in Novem­ber and the Invi­ta­tion­al in February.

Trials Rising 

A new addi­tion to the Tri­als series was shown today. It will launch in Feb­ru­ary 2019, on PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Nin­ten­do Switch. There’s also a reg­is­tra­tion for the Tri­als Ris­ing beta. A Gold Edi­tion will be avail­able, which includes the game and the expan­sion pass. To learn more go to Ubisoft.

The Division 2

Even though Ubisoft show­cased some game­play dur­ing Microsoft­’s con­fer­ence, they did out­line more details for The Divi­sion 2.

Mario+Rabbids: Kingdom Battle — Donkey Kong Adventure

This DLC for Mario+Rabbids has a release date is extreme­ly close, launch­ing on June 26th. It’ll have four new areas and 10 hours of gameplay.

Skull and Bones

Not only did Ubisoft show a cin­e­mat­ic trail­er for Skull and Bones, they showed some exten­sive naval com­bat, which you can see, here.

Transference 

A new trail­er was shown for the psy­cho­log­i­cal thriller Trans­fer­ence, which had a sur­pris­ing guest dur­ing the con­fer­ence. Eli­jah Wood took stage to show off the game, which is being devel­oped in Ubisoft’s Mon­tre­al stu­dio and col­lab­o­rat­ing with Wood’s film pro­duc­tion com­pa­ny, Spec­tre­vi­sion. It’s bet­ter with the VR expe­ri­ence, but you can play with­out it.

Starlink: Battle for Atlas

More of Ubisoft­’s Star­link was shown with anoth­er trail­er today and made an announce­ment for the Nin­ten­do Switch ver­sion. Fox McCloud (from the Start Fox series will be a playable char­ac­ter, but only on the Switch.

For Honor DLC

The lat­est expan­sion titled “March­ing Fire”, bring new con­tent to For Hon­or. This includes a Wu Lin fac­tion of war­riors, a new siege mode (named Breach), and a graph­ic update.

The Crew 2

Ubisoft recent­ly had a closed beta for The Crew 2, but they revealed an open beta which will arrive on June 21st. The Crew 2 will launch on June 29th, 2018, on PlaySta­tion 4, Xbox One, and PC. 

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey 

Every­one was wait­ing for this trail­er, after Ubisoft announced there would be anoth­er Assas­s­in’s Creed. You can get the full details, here.
