Another week has passed and again, Call of Duty: WWΙΙ has managed to hold onto its number one position for three weeks now. This is even after the many issues it suffered with its servers after launch. Some players are just now able to see others in their headquarters, although us here at Fix the Meta have not yet seen anyone else in ours.
Star Wars Battlefront ΙΙ debuted this week and did well, especially considering the buzzing heard surrounding their microtransactions. However, Battlefront ΙΙ didn’t outsell Call of Duty: WWΙΙ by any means and probably won’t ever break second place. Although, EA did pull all loot crates from Battlefront ΙΙ, it is yet to be seen if it will affect sales of the game.
FIFA 18 got pushed down from second to third from last week. Two 3DS Pokemon titles debuted this week, ending up in the top five and pushing everything else out (surprising and not surprising). Pokemon Ultra Sun is in fourth, while Pokemon Ultra Moon landed fifth.
