Activi­sion has announced that Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2 is com­ing to the PlaySta­tion 5, Xbox Series X and the Nin­ten­do Switch lat­er this year. No exact release date has been giv­en for the Switch ver­sion but the PS5 and Xbox Series X ver­sions will be avail­able on March 26th 2021.

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2 will fea­ture quite a few upgrades from the pre­vi­ous gen ver­sion. The PlaySta­tion 5 and Xbox Series X ver­sions will fea­ture improved res­o­lu­tion, spa­tial audio, high-fideli­ty atmos­pher­ics, and much more. PS5 and Xbox Series X users will be able to skate in 120 fps at 1080 and 60 fps at 4k while the Xbox Series S ver­sion will ren­der at 1440p and upscale to 4k. The Switch wont fea­ture these graph­i­cal upgrades or high fram­er­ates but will be portable and can be played anywhere. 

If you have already pur­chased a copy of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2 on the PS4 or Xbox One you will be able to upgrade your copy to the next gen ver­sion free in your con­sole’s soft­ware store. A Cross-Gen Deluxe Bun­dle is also avail­able cost­ing $10 more but come with both the last gen and next gen ver­sions, great for peo­ple who own mul­ti­ple con­soles and have not already bought the game. The Cross Gen Deluxe Bun­dle also comes with a new skater named Rip­per. It also include­setro gear for the Cre­ate-A-Skater mode and retro skins for Tony Hawk, Steve Caballero, and Rud­ney Mullen. Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2 is available now for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. PlayStation5 and Xbox Series X versions will be available on March 26th. No release date for the Switch version has been given.
