The Nintendo Switch OLED model comes with a new dock which includes a built-in LAN port, and this new dock will be sold separately.

A Nintendo representative told Digital Trends that the white and black versions of the dock will be sold through the Nintendo online store, but not at retail sites. The dock doesn’t come with an HDMI cable or an AC adapter, and it will be delivered in plain packaging. Pricing and release date for the standalone dock was not detailed.

The regular Switch dock is currently available from the Nintendo store for $60. It would be highly unlikely that the dock would be higher than $90.

These new docks from the OLED model work with the standard version of the Switch. This might be appealing for players who want to download or play games with a wired connection fro presumably better, more consistent speeds. However, Nintendo does already sell a LAN adapter for the existing dock. Another factor to consider is the loss of a USB port for the integrated LAN connection.
