State of Decay 2 Shows A Ton of Gameplay At Microsoft’s E3

We final­ly got to see a ton of game­play for State of Decay 2 today dur­ing the Microsoft press con­fer­ence. It pro­vid­ed insight on what to expect for the upcom­ing sequel. The orig­i­nal was avail­able on Xbox 360, which feels like an eter­ni­ty ago, and was released in 2013.

State of Decay 2 expands from the orig­i­nal, in an open-world set­ting and co-op game­play that forces you to sur­vive the zom­bie “end of days” with oth­er play­ers. You can build a com­mu­ni­ty (but that means pro­tect­ing it), fight of hordes of zom­bies, and deal with just basic liv­ing neces­si­ties (food, water, weath­er). Besides just the typ­i­cal zom­bies, there are these men­ac­ing red-eyed ones that glow. It is pret­ty ter­ri­fy­ing. You also make tough deci­sions that might make you a lit­tle uneasy. 

State of Decay 2 is a Xbox One and Win­dows 10 exclu­sive, and is set to launch Spring of 2018. You can check out the very bloody trail­er below:
