It’s finally happening.. Sony will be giving more information about the highly anticipated PS5. The presentation will run for little over an hour and starts at 1:00 p.m. PT/ 4:00 p.m. on June 4th. It will showcase new PS5 games and reveal the first gameplay for the console.

No specific details have been shared, but PlayStation head Jim Ryan spoke with CNET reiterating once again that the PS5 is still on track to release this year.

In a PlayStation Blog post, Ryan gave a statement regarding games on the PS5:

The games coming to PS5 represent the best in the industry from innovative studios that span the globe. Studios, both larger and smaller, those newer and those more established, all have been hard at work developing games that will showcase the potential of the hardware.

Hopefully this digital showcase will at least show us the PS5’s appearance. So far, Sony has unveiled the next-generation controller called the DualSense and the specs for the PS5.

Epic Games recently revealed the Unreal Engine 5 with a tech demo that was running on a PS5. Epic also went on to say that the PS5’s SSD architecture is more advanced than what’s currently available on the market for high-end PCs.
