Announced by Square Enix, via their I Am Setsuna website page, letting the community know they have a new mode available.… but it is only for Nintendo Switch.
Recently, I Am Setsuna was revealed as heading to the Switch as part of the huge lineup of games being pushed to the upcoming console. The RPG Japanese-style game has a free DLC specifically for the Switch, in the form of a PvP mode, which has been titled the “Time Stadium”.
Square Enix also plans on giving players the ability to customize characters. This is translated from Japanese and sounds strange, but read it for yourself and interperate however you want:
“In “at the time of the arena”, the width of character customization is wide PvP of this work unique to enjoy.”
That is the translation, I promise. It seems odd they would offer this DLC only to new users on Nintendo Switch. Appealing to all players on all consoles, especially with a PvP mode, would be a great way to get players back to their game.
I Am Setsuna is releasing for the Switch on March 3rd in Japan and later in March in North America and Europe. Below are a couple of screenshots from the PvP mode:
