Microsoft closed out its Xbox and Bethesda Showcase with the reveal of a brand-new title from Arkane, the studio that developed Dishonored and Prey. The game is called Redfall, and it’s heading to Xbox and PC in 2022.

Redfall is an open-world co-op shooter, where a team of players are fighting to push back a legion of vampires. The reveal trailer is a mash of Left 4 Dead and Back 4 Blood, which showcases the different characters working together to rid their city of these bloodsucking foes.

According to the official Redfall website, the game is described as blending “single-and multiplayer options seamlessly.” You can venture off solo or group up with three other players. The vampires that are raging through the city are a result of a scientific experiment gone completely wrong. There are also various mutations, as well as human cultists who support them. Of course.

Redfall is going to be exclusively released Xbox Series X|S and PC in the summer of 2022. The game will also be available on Xbox Game Pass on launch day, like other first-party Microsoft titles.
