In today’s Nintendo Direct four (technically) Pokemon games were announced for the Nintendo 3DS. Pokemon Sun Ultra and Pokemon Moon Ultra will have a proper release. Pokemon Gold and Silver will also be on the 3DS through the virtual console.
There isn’t many details on Pokemon Sun/Moon Ultra. It will tell an “alternative” story from the original game. The game will also include new Pokemon, but Nintendo did not say which ones will be included. New features were also promised . Both games will launch November 17th for the Nintendo 3DS. Also to be clear the game will not be coming to the Switch despite the
Pokemon Gold and Silver will follow in the foot steps of past Pokemon ports. It will be a recreation of the original game with minimal changes. Link trades and battles with other 3DS players will be possible. Also both the Time Capsule and Pokemon Bank will be usable. Pokemon Gold and Silver launches September 22nd on the Virtual Console.
