Pokemon Sun/Moon And Gold/Silver Coming To Nintendo 3DS

In today’s Nin­ten­do Direct four (tech­ni­cal­ly) Poke­mon games were announced for the Nin­ten­do 3DS. Poke­mon Sun Ultra and Poke­mon Moon Ultra will have a prop­er release. Poke­mon Gold and Sil­ver will also be on the 3DS through the vir­tu­al console.

There isn’t many details on Poke­mon Sun/Moon Ultra. It will tell an “alter­na­tive” sto­ry from the orig­i­nal game. The game will also include new Poke­mon, but Nin­ten­do did not say which ones will be includ­ed. New fea­tures were also promised . Both games will launch Novem­ber 17th for the Nin­ten­do 3DS. Also to be clear the game will not be com­ing to the Switch despite the 

Poke­mon Gold and Sil­ver will fol­low in the foot steps of past Poke­mon ports. It will be a recre­ation of the orig­i­nal game with min­i­mal changes. Link trades and bat­tles with oth­er 3DS play­ers will be pos­si­ble. Also both the Time Cap­sule and Poke­mon Bank will be usable. Poke­mon Gold and Sil­ver launch­es Sep­tem­ber 22nd on the Vir­tu­al Console.
