Pokémon Home is getting another big update in June, as announced by The Pokémon Company. The update is introducing a few features to the mobile version of the service, and all users will be receiving two free Pokémon as a celebratory gift.
The first new feature is the Catch Calendar, which allows you to arrange and view all of your Pokémon by the date you caught them. You can also set anniversaries, like your birthday or the date you first caught a certain Pokémon.
Additionally, this update is adding a feature that will allow you to view your Pokémon from different angles. “You’ll be able to get a better look at your Pokémon partners, and you might even discover some new details that you didn’t notice before,” as stated by The Pokémon Company. You can learn more about this update from the official Pokémon website.
In celebration of the new update, The Pokémon Company is giving away two of the original starter Pokémon from Gen 1: Squirtle and Bulbasaur. It’s for all Pokémon Home users and will arrive via Mystery Gift. These particular Pokémon are special because each one has a Gigantamax factor, so they’ll be able to Gigantamax once they are fully evolved.
In other Pokémon news, The Pokémon Company finally announced a release date for Pokémon Brilliant Diamond/Shining Pearl and Pokémon Legends: Arceus. Preorders also went live for Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, as well as the spin-off Pokémon Legends: Arceus.
