A cooky physics-puzzle game is launching soon and has been named, Snake Pass. The makers of the game, Sumo Digital, posted about its release on PlayStation’s blog today, and the game looks… interesting.
Apparently, it has Jungle Beats
This game has an original soundtrack which was composed by gaming audio legend David Wise. Wise has worked on game soundtracks for many years, including many Donkey Kong titles. So the jungle beats are indeed going to be real.
As far as the characters go in this game, you play as a snake named Noodle (that’s silly). You are accompanied by a feathered Hummingbird friend by the name of Doodle (also silly). You two are setting out to solve the mystery that has beset the land of Haven Tor.
PS4 Pro Support
On launch day, Snake Pass will be featuring PS4 Pro enhancements. Anyone using a 4K monitor or television, will be able to take full advantage of this games day one PS4 Pro launch support. The team did not mention specific details regarding frames, but I would assume the usual steady 60 FPS, especially for PS4 Pro players.
For everyone who does not have a Pro and is still using a 1080p TV or there are still performance enhancements that should “make the game stand out.” Not really sure what that means. For those using HDR you may notice the game, as they put it, “pop”.
Snake Pass is set for release on March 28th to PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC in the U.S. Europe is going to see it on March 29th.
