Fans of Halo have been diligently waiting for the release of Halo 3 to The Master Chief Collection. That wait will soon be over. Back in 2007, Halo 3 was the considered one of the best Halo titles, but was only available on console. 343 Industries announced Halo 3 will launch to the collection on July 14th.

This announcement comes after 343 they concluded a closed beta test for the game on PC, falling in line behind previously tested titles in the MCC. You can see the trailer for the PC version of Halo 3 below:

Once it’s released, it will be joining Halo: Reach, Halo Combat Evolved and Halo 2 in The Master Chief Collection on PC. Halo 3: ODST and Halo 4 will come to the collection at a later date. All of these games are available on Xbox One through the MCC. PC players who have Xbox Game Pass can get the collection for free.
