Paladins Beta Now On Consoles, Sign-up Available

Team based shoot­er Pal­adins is now on Xbox One and PlaySta­tion 4.

The game is still cur­rent­ly in beta how­ev­er gamers can start play­ing now. There are two ways to get into the beta, buy­ing a Founders Pack or by sign­ing up for Xbox One or PS4. Founders Pack will be on sale for $15 until March 28th after­wards the price will be raised back to $20. The Founders Pack also includes:

• Every Cham­pi­on 
• A Beta-exclu­sive Skin Col­lec­tion and Mount.
• 10 Radi­ant Chests
• 72,000 Essence to craft cards.
• A Pal­adins-themed skin for Ares in Smite.

When Pal­adins offi­cial­ly launch­es it will be free-to-play. Those on PS4 will not need PS Plus how­ev­er those on Xbox One will need Xbox Live Gold to play. Cross play between the dif­fer­ent plat­forms is not being planned, but is pos­si­ble. PC progress will not trans­fer to con­sole either.

Hi-Rez also announced that a PS4 Pal­adins tour­na­ment will be held in Spain at DreamHack Valen­cia. One team from North Amer­i­ca and one team from Europe can qual­i­fy for the tour­na­ment. The trip itself will be cov­ered and the grand prize will be $50,000.
