Overwatch is Having Another Free Weekend Soon

Bliz­zard announced anoth­er free week­end of play for Over­watch, start­ing Feb­ru­ary 16th and end­ing the 19th. It free for PS4, Xbox One, and PC, so if you haven’t tried the game already you’ve got this week­end to give it a whirl. 

This week­end, Over­watch’s full ros­ter of 26 heroes and 16 maps will be avail­able for you to get at. Includ­ed modes dur­ing the week­end are, Quick­play, Cus­tom Games, and the Arcade. For obvi­ous rea­sons, Com­pet­i­tive match­es are not among the playable modes. You can also open Loot Box­es, as well as unlock a vari­ety of dif­fer­ent cus­tomiza­tion options.

If you decid­ed to pur­chase Over­watch after your test run, any progress made you’ll be able to keep (includ­ing items from Loot Box­es). Just make sure you use the same account (Battle.net, PSN, or Xbox Live) that you played on. Below are the times for pre-down­load for PS4 and Xbox One:

  • FOR PLAYSTATION 4 (Pre-down­load start­ing at 11:00 AM PST on Feb­ru­ary 13)
  • FOR XBOX ONE (Pre-down­load start­ing at 11:00 AM PST on Feb­ru­ary 13)
