Today Studio Wildcard community “overlord and associate producer” Jat posted a tweet confirming that the next big update to the hugely popular survival dinosaur game Ark Survival Evolved has been again delayed.
PlayStation update won’t make it today guys. Sorry! Should be tomorrow, and Valentines will ofc run for the entire week for missed time.

This leaves the Playstation community very frustrated as this patch doesn’t just add new content, such as the anticipated Tek tier items but also promises to help fix some game breaking bugs. “Blue screening” is very common while playing Ark right now. Blue screening is when Ark ps4 crashes to a blue screen with a Playstation error message requiring the game be completely restarted leaving your survivor and any dinosaur you were riding completely defenseless for several minutes as you restart Ark and log back in, resulting in many lost dinos and valuable items.
A couple of attempts to fix the issue have been made with mixed success among survivors. This delay is heart breaking for those who experience the issue regularly.
I cant help but want to point my finger at Sony. Sony already made it difficult for PS4 owners to get Ark, giving the Xbox the console exclusive for an entire year. Sony also delayed the previous 2 patches for Ark on the PS4.
While not perfect, Studio Wildcard provides timely information to its fans and player base regarding Ark updates and content via their Twitter and Community Forums
I hope tomorrow brings us the update, not just another delay.
