Monster Hunter World PC Release Date Announced

Mon­ster Hunter World has been a hit on the Playsta­tion 4 and Xbox One and now PC users get to jump in the fun. Cap­com has announced that Mon­ster Hunter World will be com­ing to PC August 9th.

If pre-ordered from Steam, play­ers will receive a cou­ple bonus items: the Ori­gin armor set and the Fair Wind Charm. 

The Dig­i­tal Deluxe Edi­tion comes with the same bonus items as the Playsta­tion 4 version:

• Addi­tion­al Ges­ture 1: Zen
• Addi­tion­al Ges­ture 2: Nin­ja Star
• Addi­tion­al Ges­ture 3: Sumo Slap
• 2 addi­tion­al stick­er sets
• “Wyvern” face paint
• “Top­knot” hairstyle
• Samu­rai Set

Cap­com says Mon­ster Hunter World fea­tures 4k 60fps on the PC, but did not list the require­ments for run­ning the game in 4k 60fps. Here are the sys­tem require­ments Cap­com released, Both the min­i­mum and rec­om­mend­ed require­ments are tar­get­ed at 30fps. 60fps require­ments were not list­ed.

Mon­ster Hunter World on PC will have all the pre­vi­ous Playsta­tion 4 updates “grad­u­al­ly applied” and will fea­ture a dif­fer­ent Event Quest Sched­ule than the con­sole ver­sions.
