Mass Effect: Andromeda Won’t Get Day One Patch, Despite Heavy Criticism

Mass Effect: Andromeda will not be receiving any day one patches, as revealed by the game’s lead designer Ian Frazier.

Andromeda has been getting hit pretty hard with heavy criticism over the way the characters move, their facial expressions, and just general animation. Fans and players who have had access with Origin/EA, for the most part, have complained about these subpar graphic issues. Many players saying on the Mass Effect: Andromeda Reddit forum that in general the game was “rough around the edges.”

In response to someone asking if there would be a day one patch on Twitter, Frazier responded with:

However, he did say they are discussing patches for a later date, of course, no time was given. Frazier did confirm BioWare is looking into adding new skin tones to the character creator and that the multiplayer sound issues were “under investigation”. BioWare is encouraging players to let EA know of any technical issues they come across, so feel free to submit them here.
