We Happy Few Gets A Release Date And A PS4 Version

We Hap­py Few, that creepy game shown dur­ing Microsoft­’s E3 2016 pre­sen­ta­tion has been in ear­ly access for the Xbox One and PC for quite some time now. Soon the fin­ished game will be avail­able for all to enjoy. On April 13th 2018 We Hap­py Few will be avail­able world­wide for the Xbox One, PC and Playsta­tion 4, fea­tur­ing a full length cam­paign played from the per­spec­tive of three  “mod­er­ate­ly ter­ri­ble” playable char­ac­ters, each with their own story.

If you haven’t seen or read any­thing about We Hap­py Few check out the E3 2016 trail­er above. We Few is set in an alter­nate ver­sion of 1960s Eng­land in the fic­tion­al town of Welling­ton Wells. Play­ers play as three peo­ple who stop tak­ing their “Joy”, a pill that alters their minds, keep­ing them hap­py and hid­ing real­i­ty. Each char­ac­ter has their own rea­son for refus­ing to to take joy and must fig­ure out how to escape town with­out get­ting caught by the police or citizens.

We Hap­py Few will retail for $60. A lim­it­ed edi­tion col­lec­tors set is also being released. Retail­ing for $150 the col­lec­tors set includes a repli­ca Bob­by mask, lamp, alarm clock, vinyl sound­track and oth­er 60’s themed items.

The col­lec­tors edi­tion does not come with the game, Gear­box says the CE does­n’t come with the game “so that Ear­ly Access play­ers can pur­chase it separately.”.

We Hap­py Few Will be avail­able on Xbox One, Playsta­tion 4 and PC April 13 2018.
