Ubisoft announced today, via their Twitter and blog, the start date of the open beta for Ghost Recon Wildlands. For anyone who didn’t get to partake in the closed beta, you can see the game for yourself on February 23rd (preloading is available on the 21st).
The open beta starts the 23rd and is running through until February 27th, so that is plenty of time to get a feel for the world of Santa Blanca. The beta is arriving to Xbox One, PS4 and PC and includes all the content closed beta players saw. They are also adding another providence, which hasn’t been seen before, named Montuyoc. It is set in the Bolivian Altiplano region, with heavily defended strongholds and some of the toughest soldiers.
There is an open beta trailer below:
Also, if you participated in the closed or open beta—and purchase the retail version of Ghost Recon Wildlands, before March 31st on the same Ubisoft account (because that needs to be a thing)— you will gain access to the “Unidad Conspiracy” reward. This includes three exclusive missions that feature a brewing conflict between the local Unidad military and Santa Blanca.
Ubisoft also included the PC requirements for Wildlands today, which are for the open beta and the final release. You can see those below:
