Gears 5 Launches Next Year

The next entry in the Gears Of War series is com­ing to Xbox One and Win­dows next year. Dur­ing Microsoft­’s Xbox E3 show­case Coali­tion Games announced Gears 5 is com­ing and stars Kait Diaz who debuted in Gears Of War 4. Gears 5 is the first title in the series to drop the Of War from the title. Details are pret­ty scarce at the moment but Gears 5 will fea­ture split-screen and on-line co-op play. It looks great, being described as “the biggest, most beau­ti­ful Gears world ever cre­at­ed.” It will also be Xbox One Enhanced for 4K HDR 60 fps game play on the Xbox One X.
