Blizzard and Twitch have announced new details regarding the partnership between the live streaming source and the developer’s esports actions. Whether or not you care about esports, people who have subscriptions to Amazon/Twitch Prime will see an immediate benefit.
Being a Twitch Prime member, which you are automatically qualified for when you for sign up for Amazon Prime, means you can grab free loot for plenty of games. Right now you can instantly grab a free Golden Loot Box for Overwatch, which will guarantee you at least one legendary item. To claim this, you have to sign into your Twitch account, then connect to you Amazon Prime account if you haven’t already. It’s a little out of the way, but it might be worth it.
You will also receive 10 standard Overwatch Loot boxes later this year, although they are not available yet. 5 will be available in August and 5 in October. If you are a Hearthstone or Heroes of the Storm player, there is more free loot waiting for you. HotS players can get their Loot Chests in August as well, while Hearthstone players can get packs in September.
