Progress has been made in Microsoft­’s Flight Sim­u­la­tor 2020, as it will be enter­ing the closed beta stage lat­er this month on July 30th. The game has been in alpha for nine months.

The devel­op­ers announced an update on the Flight Sim­u­la­tor web­site, which includ­ed changes to exist­ing planes, adjust­ments to tools and even fix­es to weath­er pat­terns. You can see the full set of patch notes, here.

If you were already invit­ed to the alpha of Flight Sim­u­la­tor, you’ll auto­mat­i­cal­ly be enrolled for the beta. If you’re still inter­est­ed in try­ing it out, you’ll need to sign up to the Xbox Insid­ers Pro­gram for a chance to receive an invitation.
