State of Play has a bit of content to show for the Final Fantasy 7 Remake. This includes new story content that introduces Yuffie and new character Sonon, in what’s being called Final Fantasy 7 Remake: Intergrade. PS5 owners will also get visual and performance upgrades, like better effects, textures and 60 FPS gameplay. The story content and even more features that have already been mentioned will launch on June 10th.
Final Fantasy 7 Remake: Intergrade
The original Final Fantasy 7 character Yuffie is making her Remake debut in new story content called Intergrade. She arrives in Midgar and teams up with another character named Sonon.
The Yuffie episode will be a separate purchase if you already own the game on the PS4, and pricing has not been confirmed. However, it’s included in the $70 standard edition of FF7 Remake: Intergrade on PS5.
Of course, the upgrade will be free. FF7 Remake will have higher frame rates, improved textures, better visual effects and faster load times. There will be two options: graphics optimization for 4K resolution and performance optimization that targets 60 FPS.
Other features include photo mode, quality of life changes and a new difficulty setting that lets you focus on dishing out commands without having to worry about the real-time action.
