Dirt Rally has made its way to PS VR today, as announced by the game community manager on PlayStation’s Blog. They wanted to clarify a few things when it came to the changes with the PS VR headset.
It’s the Whole Game
When you pick up the PS VR Dirt Rally upgrade, you will get to access to all the content within Dirt Rally. Every track, stage, car, and discipline are available for the PS VR user.
It Includes Innovative New Co-Driver Mode
The co-driver is a crucial part of rally racing and you need those calls to be well-timed, clear, and reliable. With the PS VR you can now put that in your hands, well, technically Player Two. You can entrust a second person with the very important responsibility of sending the right calls. Pressing the wrong button at the wrong time could leave your rally pilot clueless about the next few turns. Get your timing down and it will be smooth sailing.
At the end of each stage there will be an accuracy rating given—so you can’t hide if your callouts are not up to par.
Update is PS4 Pro Optimized
Since the team knows many people out there have been upgrading their hardware to get the best experience from their PS VR. So the update for Dirt Rally update is coming PS4 Pro optimized so you will definitely see the graphic benefits.
