Dirt Rally PS VR is Out Today and PS4 Pro Optimized

Dirt Ral­ly has made its way to PS VR today, as announced by the game com­mu­ni­ty man­ag­er on PlaySta­tion’s Blog. They want­ed to clar­i­fy a few things when it came to the changes with the PS VR headset.

It’s the Whole Game

When you pick up the PS VR Dirt Ral­ly upgrade, you will get to access to all the con­tent with­in Dirt Ral­ly. Every track, stage, car, and dis­ci­pline are avail­able for the PS VR user. 

It Includes Inno­v­a­tive New Co-Dri­ver Mode

The co-dri­ver is a cru­cial part of ral­ly rac­ing and you need those calls to be well-timed, clear, and reli­able. With the PS VR you can now put that in your hands, well, tech­ni­cal­ly Play­er Two. You can entrust a sec­ond per­son with the very impor­tant respon­si­bil­i­ty of send­ing the right calls. Press­ing the wrong but­ton at the wrong time could leave your ral­ly pilot clue­less about the next few turns. Get your tim­ing down and it will be smooth sailing. 

At the end of each stage there will be an accu­ra­cy rat­ing given—so you can’t hide if your call­outs are not up to par.

Since the team knows many peo­ple out there have been upgrad­ing their hard­ware to get the best expe­ri­ence from their PS VR. So the update for Dirt Ral­ly update is com­ing PS4 Pro opti­mized so you will def­i­nite­ly see the graph­ic benefits.

Launch­ing With Intro­duc­to­ry Offer 

There is going to be an intro­duc­to­ry offer when the DLC drops tomor­row. So, from Feb­ru­ary 18th to the 28th, you can pur­chase the entire PS VR bun­dle.
