Bioware has finally revealed details on their new sci-fi game Anthem after teasing the new IP yesterday.
Anthem will launch in 2018 for Xbox One, PS4, and PC. The game will also support the newly announced Xbox One X.
Anthem is an action RPG with a shared world and co-operative multiplayer. Each player takes on the role of a “Freelancer”, people who wear Javelin exosuits and venture outside the walls. Each of these exosuits can be equipped with unique weapons and abilities. Players can further customize their exosuits by crafting and earning gear throughout their adventure.
As for the co-op, a total of four people can play together. They’ll complete quest and explore a “vast world teeming with amazing technology and forgotten treasures”. More details weren’t given however you can see it for yourself in the gameplay trailer.
