Edmund McMillen, founder of Team Meat, has stated that he is working on a new IP on the Binding of Issac blog. The new project is being worked on by McMillien and programmer Tyler Glaiel.
“On a side note not many of you know this, but Tyler and I have been in crunch mode for the past 3 months trying to finish this secret project. We are coming close to announcing it and its release date, so keep and eye out for it, I don’t want to spoil the fun yet but I can say this.”
There was not much detail on the new game however McMillen had this to say.
“Its hard, its weird, its personal, its has amazing controls, its a totally new unannounced IP and its easily one of the largest games I’ve ever made level wise.”
In addition to the new IP, the developer has already announced that he working on two other games, Øuroboros and The Legend of Bum-bo. Neither of these named titles has been released so this new unnamed IP likely won’t come out for some time.
