Battlefield 2042 will have an open beta before the game launches, and DICE has shared a few more details regarding it. The open beta will be released sometime within September.
EA Play subscribers who preorder the game will get early access to the beta, but DICE didn’t say how much sooner that access would be. EA Play members will also get early access to the full game on October 15th, a week before the title releases for everyone else (Battlefield 2042’s official release date is October 22nd).
According to Battlefield Bulletin, Battlefield 2042’s open beta will be available for pre-loading on September 3rd. Early access for pre-order players will start on September 4th, while everyone else will have to wait until September 6th. The beta will end on September 11th.

Of course, this tweet has since been deleted, so it can’t be verified. As well as when the beta will start, it’s also unclear what content will be available in the Battlefield 2042 beta. The multiplayer title consists of three main modes: All-Out Warfare, Portal, and Hazard Zone.
