Platinum Games showed off its upcoming action-RPG Babylon’s Fall at Square Enix’s E3 2021 presentation, giving everyone a first look at the action. The PlayStation and PC game was first seen a few years back, but this is the first extended detail about it.

Babylon’s Fall has a unique art style, giving the feeling of a watercolor painting. As is typical of Platinum Games titles, it features acrobatic abilities during combat, but also appears to be heavy than games like Bayonetta or Nier: Automata. There are weapons like swords, bows, and lances, as well as magical abilities.

Nier: Automata producer Yosuke Saito is working on the game, as announced during the E3 2021 presentation. One other bit of info about Babylon’s Fall is the game can not be played offline. This makes it a live service title, which will get several beta tests before its official launch.
