Dur­ing Microsoft­’s Xbox Games Show­case Extend­ed, the com­pa­ny rev­e­lead that A Plague Tale: Inno­cence will get Xbox Series X|S on July 6th.

The game will get visu­al enhance­ments, allow­ing for 4K res­o­lu­tion at 60fps. Although, the trail­er shown did not con­firm if load times would be improved on the Xbox Series X|S, it is like­ly to be the case.

After the reveal on Xbox Extend­ed, devel­op­er Asobo Stu­dio announced these enhance­ments would also be arriv­ing to the PlaySta­tion 5 and the cloud-ver­sion on the Switch.

At the E3 2021 Xbox and Bethes­da Show­case, Xbox unveiled that a Plague Tale: Inno­cence is get­ting a sequel, A Plague Tale: Requiem. This title will launch exclu­sive­ly on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC in 2022.
