Traditionally, the next month’s PlayStation free titles are not available to grab before the next month starts. Sony typically doesn’t even reveal those titles until the very end of the current month, sometimes a few days into a new one.
However, Sony broke this tradition today by revealing one of June’s free games, Call of Duty: WWII. You can download it tomorrow, May 26th. The second free title will be announced later this week, and might be downloadable on June 2nd.
Call of Duty: WWII, developed by Sledgehammer Games and originally released back in 2017, brought the series back to the World War II era for the first time since World at War (2008). The online servers are not extremely active, but with the game goin free on PlayStation, player count will likely go up.
This month’s free games had players in a tizzy as some were disappointed that both titles were simulators. For those who haven’t picked up this month’s games, Cities: Skylines and Farming Simulator 19 are available until June 1st.
