Xbox Series X Games Will Come To The Xbox One Through Streaming

Microsoft revealed its plan to allow people who own the Xbox One to play higher-end games, which doesn’t involve purchasing new hardware. Microsoft announced in a blog post that Xbox Cloud Gaming is set to be released as an Xbox app, which will allow users on Xbox One models to play the upcoming Series X titles.

The number of people in this category is not small, as Microsoft has stated there are “millions” of players who are still gaming on Xbox Ones. With the newest games pushing technical limits, Xbox Cloud Gaming will be an option to support players on older consoles, but want to play the latest games.

“For the millions of people who play on Xbox One consoles today, we are looking forward to sharing more about how we will bring many of these next-gen games, such as Microsoft Flight Simulator, to your console through Xbox Cloud Gaming, just like we do with mobile devices, tablets, and browsers,” Microsoft said.

The company did not detail the specific plans for this, but with streaming you’ll need a decent or good stable internet connection. At the very least.
