Xbox Game Pass Launches June 1st; Early Access for Gold Members Starts Today

Xbox announced today, via Major Nelson’s website, that Xbox Game Pass is planned to roll out very soon. Starting today, people with Gold Membership get early access to the program and will receive a 14-day free trial.

For anyone who is unaware of the Xbox Game Pass program, it grants you access to over 100 Xbox One and Backwards Compatible Xbox 360 games for just $9.99 a month. It gives you unlimited access to the games you choose from the list of over a hundred, and if you decide you want to own the game (in case you ever want to end your subscription to the Xbox Game Pass program) you also get a discounted price on the games you are purchasing (and add-ons) while in the program.

For anyone who is not a Gold Member, you can still get access to the Xbox Game Pass, but you will have to wait until June 1st. Anyone who has an Xbox Live account can subscribe to the Pass program on June 1st or if you want to try it, there will be a 14-day free period.

Here the full list of games that will be offered with the Xbox Games Pass.
