Valve has announced that the Steam Deck will officially launch on February 25th. In a blog post, the company confirmed that those who reserved the handheld will receive a confirmation by email on that day. However, those with the email will have 72 hours to purchase the Steam Deck or pass it up to the someone else.
Shipping will being on February 28th, with more conformation emails expected to go out each week. Valve also mentioned that members of the press will begin to giving impressions of the Steam Deck soon, and then more widely on February 25th.
The Steam Deck was originally planned launch in December of last year, but it was delayed. There are three versions, the 64GB ($399) model, the 256GB ($529) version, and the 512GB ($649) model. If you’re looking to get your hands on one, it might be nearly impossible at his point, but you can still go check out the Steam Deck page just in case.
