There have not been any major releases for quite some time, so the charts have seen little change between the top contenders. However, this week saw two major title releases, both on the same day. Animal Crossing: New Horizons, the newest title launched on the Switch, landed first during its debut week.

The other major title release, Bethesda’s DOOM Eternal, did take second but couldn’t beat Animal Crossing during its debut week. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare dropped to third, followed by FIFA 20 in fourth. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe rounded out the top in fifth.
