Top 10 US Game Sales for May: State of Decay 2 Comes in at #1

According the NPD Group State of Decay 2 was a best-seller for the month of May, which is slightly surprising. Although fans of the game have been enjoying the second title, it’s had a fair share of problems at launch.

State of Decay 2 apparently outshined PlayStation’s exclusive, Detroit: Become Human. Although, they did both debut towards the end May. Microsoft seems to be happy, since State of Decay 2 did double sales of the original. That would explain Microsoft picking up Undead Labs.

God of War still managed to stay in second, considering its popularity, that’s not much of shock. Detroit: Become Human landed in third. Far Cry 5, which was in second the month before, now holds fourth. Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze finishes the top five out.
