The Quarry Gameplay Footage Shown Off, Looks Quite Scary

2K Games has released a new gameplay trailer for The Quarry, the next horror title coming from the developers of Until Dawn. This 30-minute gameplay clip is from the game’s prologue, where we see teenage camp counselors Laura (Siobhan Williams) and boyfriend Max (Skylar Gisondo) visiting the camp the night before they are scheduled to show up. Obviously, this is a great plan.

Oh wait, it actually isn’t–as things go south relatively quickly, which you can check out below. If you’re planning to go into The Quarry without spoilers, stay away from the trailer.

The Quarry tells the story of the final day of summer camp at Hackett’s Quarry, where a group of teenagers are planning on hosting a party. As one would expect, this night will turn into a horror-filled, bloodbath. Just like Until Dawn, players will make critical choices that determine what happens to each of the nine camp counselors. Any character can die, and this does affect the outcome.

The Quarry also features online play where those invited to a session can watch and cast their votes on certain decisions.

In addition to the aforementioned cast, the game will also feature celebrity voice actors, like David Arquette, Ariel Winter, Brenda Song, and Justice Smith. The full cast list can be seen below.

The Quarry is set to release on June 10th for PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC. This is a separate title from Supermassive’s The Dark Pictures anthology series.
