Those who have man­aged to acquire a PS5 or Xbox Series X and play The Divi­sion 2 are in for a treat, On Feb­ru­ary 2nd The Divi­sion 2 get an update that allows the game to run at 60 frames per sec­ond at 4k res­o­lu­tion on the PS5 and XSX. The per­for­mance increase is a wel­come addi­tion to the long run­ning game and gives some con­sole play­ers the abil­i­ty to fight through Wash­ing­ton D.C. IN 4K 60 FPS.

The next gen fea­tures aren’t the only thing com­ing in the update. The Divi­sion 2 will be cel­e­brat­ing the Res­i­dent Evil fran­chise’s 25th anniver­sary. Run­ning Feb­ru­ary 2–15 play­ers will be able to unlock cos­tumes and items from the orig­i­nal Res­i­dent Evil trilogy.

Those who log in dur­ing the event will receive Leon Kennedy’s RCPD uni­form from Res­i­dent Evil 2. There will be a vari­ety of out­fits and items to unlock. There will be total of 21 items to unlock dur­ing the cross over event, some of which are shown in the announce­ment trail­er above.
