Telltale Games Reveals Summer 2017 Update: Check it Out

Tell­tale Games revealed some pret­ty amaz­ing infor­ma­tion before San Diego’s Com­ic Con 2017, in a Sum­mer 2017 update video. It showed high­lights from some of the stu­dio’s upcom­ing projects, a few which peo­ple could not stop ask­ing for.

There are three titles in par­tic­u­lar that were men­tioned: Bat­man: The Ene­my With­in (which is a fol­low up from the year before), The Walk­ing Dead: The Final Sea­son, and a sec­ond sea­son of The Wolf Among Us.

Tell­tale specif­i­cal­ly gave a date for Bat­man: The Ene­my With­in on sev­er­al plat­forms, along with a descrip­tion. This is the sec­ond sea­son in for Bat­man Tell­tale series and the first episode “The Enig­ma” is set for release on August 8th, 2017. You can expect it on PS4, Xbox One, PC, Mac, while iOS, and Android ver­sions of the game will be out lat­er this year. A sea­son pass disc will also be avail­able in Octo­ber for PS4 and Xbox One. In this lat­est chap­ter, both Bruce Wayne and Bat­man will be forced into pre­car­i­ous new roles. The Rid­dler has returned to ter­ror­ize Gotham City, but his grue­some puz­zles mere­ly fore­shad­ow an even greater cri­sis. With the arrival of a ruth­less fed­er­al agent and the return of a still nascent Jok­er, Bat­man must nav­i­gate uneasy alliances while Bruce Wayne under­takes a per­ilous series of decep­tions. Which of Batman’s new allies will you choose to trust? And how deep into the dark­ness will you let Bruce descend? 

The Walk­ing Dead is hit­ting its final sea­son which is set for release some­time in 2018. All the plat­forms includ­ing iOS and Android are going to receive it, along with “addi­tion­al plat­forms [that] are yet to be announced.”

The Wolf Among Us is get­ting a sec­ond sea­son and is expect­ed for release in 2018 on all plat­forms with “addi­tion­al plat­forms yet to be announced.” Tell­tale stat­ed the game had  “over­whelm­ing pop­u­lar demand from fans” since its orig­i­nal launch back in 2014, which actu­al­ly caused some play­ers to down­right beg for the next game to come out.
