The last week has seen some cryptic teases on social media from Techland, and that have finally announced that more Dying Light 2 info will be revealed during a Twitch stream on May 27th at 12 PM PT / 3 PM ET. The game was first announced in 2018, and is the sequel to the popular open-world zombie survival game from 2015. The sequel has been absent for the last two years, so hopefully there is some interesting information.
The developer recently focused on answering fan feedback and quelling concerns about why the game has remained in the shadows for so long. Although information will no doubt be given during the livestream, the teases suggest there may be more than that.
To refresh your minds, Dying Light and the DLC left humanity looking like it was on its last leg. In Dying Light 2 you play as Aiden, a courier who has to explore a large metropolis in what’s know as a modern dark age. The city is heavily invested with zombies and you must deal with warring factions fighting for control of what’s left. While this might appear similar to its predecessor, Techland has stated that Dying Light 2 gives players more opportunities to make choices, which will affect the state of the city.
