Take-Two, the parent company of Rockstar Games and 2K Games, has delayed two of its upcoming “core immersive” titles. The company announced these delays as part of its latest earnings report, and the mystery title will now be released later in fiscal 2022.

Although Take-Two did not divulge on what these games were, we can definitely guess. One of these could be the unannounced 2K Games BioShock title, but this isn’t confirmed of course. Meanwhile it’s unclear what the other game could possibly be.

During the company’s earnings call, Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick said he doesn’t expect any more of their announced titled to be delayed. Zelnick also confirmed that the titles were delayed so the development teams could spend time polishing them. He went on to add that the delay was not related to COVID; he also pointed out the teams have been working at home efficiently during the pandemic.

Take-Two’s earnings report also revealed that GTA V has shipped 150 million copies, while GTA Online continues to set records ahead of GTA V’s launch on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S in November.
