Psyonix, developers of Rocket League, gave details of the exclusive cars they announced back in June during Nintendo Directs E3 trailer. Of course, this was for the Switch version, which was stated today as being out sometime around “holiday 2017” along with the cars.
The Battle-Cars are free and completely unlockable in-game. There is the ‘Mario NSR,’ ‘Luigi NSR,’ and ‘Samus’ Gunship’. What car you get depends on what team you are on. If you are on Orange, you will get ‘Mario NSR’ and ‘Samus’ Gunship,’ while being on the Blue team will equip ‘Luigi NSR’ and a classic Samus color variation of her Varia Suit. It is a mystery was the classic Samus variation looks like, because they did not show it. There are a few pics and a video below:
Rocket League on Switch will also have several exclusive customization items. The ‘Mario’ and ‘Luigi’ Toppers can be used on all non-licensed customizable Battle-Cars, but the ‘Super Star’ Rocket Boost can be used with the ‘Mario NSR’ and ‘Luigi NSR’ cars only. The ‘Wave Beam’ Rocket Boost is only for the ‘Samus’ Gunship.’
Samus’ Gunship, tho. 🏎️🚀😲😍
