Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League Delayed To 2023

Sui­cide Squad: Kill the Jus­tice League, Rock­steady’s vil­lain-cen­tered game, has been delayed to Spring 2023. The news was announced in a mes­sage from the stu­dio founder Sefton Hill, who said the deci­sion was tough to make, but the game ulti­mate­ly need­ed more time. It’s was pre­vi­ous­ly set to release some­time in 2022.

The offi­cial announce­ments fol­lows reports that the game was going to be delayed. Sus­pi­cious­ly enough, Warn­er­Me­di­a’s chief exec­u­tive offi­cer Jason Kilar tweet­ed about Warn­er Bros. upcom­ing 2022 games and Sui­cide Squad was­n’t among the list.

Although Sui­cide Squad takes place in Metrop­o­lis, it is said a con­nec­tion Rock­steady’s Arkham uni­verse can be made. Gotham Knights, anoth­er title sim­i­lar to Arkham design, does­n’t take place in the same uni­verse. That game will be avail­able on Octo­ber 25th, 2022.
