Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, Rocksteady’s villain-centered game, has been delayed to Spring 2023. The news was announced in a message from the studio founder Sefton Hill, who said the decision was tough to make, but the game ultimately needed more time. It’s was previously set to release sometime in 2022.
The official announcements follows reports that the game was going to be delayed. Suspiciously enough, WarnerMedia’s chief executive officer Jason Kilar tweeted about Warner Bros. upcoming 2022 games and Suicide Squad wasn’t among the list.
Although Suicide Squad takes place in Metropolis, it is said a connection Rocksteady’s Arkham universe can be made. Gotham Knights, another title similar to Arkham design, doesn’t take place in the same universe. That game will be available on October 25th, 2022.
