Sony just announced a new State of Play, set to air on Thursday, July 8th at 2:00 p.m. PT/ 5:00 p.m. ET. Deathloop, Bethesda’s upcoming game, is the main attraction of the show, with nine minutes of extended gameplay.
The presentation’s total run time will be around 30 minutes longs, with additional views of third-party titles and indies to complete the stream. Sonly clarified the showcase will not include any updates regarding the next entry of God of War or Horizon Forbidden West. No new hardware updates will be shown either, such as the next generation of PlayStation VR.
Deathlloop should launch on September 14th for the PlayStation 5 and PC, after being delayed from its original date. Sony recently announced that the next God of War’s release date would be delayed until sometime in 2022, although the company is still looking to release Horizon Forbidden West this year.
