The sequel to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is reportedly being called Stars Wars Jedi: Survivor, according to Grubbsnax host Jeff Grubb.
A viewer at the end of the May 12th, 2022 episode of Grubbsnax guessed the title of the game as part of a guessing game Grubb was playing with the chat. Once the proper name was guessed, Grubb asked if someone had told them that before confirming the title he’s heard is Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.
Warning: Spoilers for the ending of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order
This title would be rather fitting, when considering the ending from the previous game. Cal Kestis, one of the sole remaining Jedi after the Great Purge, embarks on a long journey that brings him toe-to-toe with Darth Vader at the end of it all. Though he does escape, it’s obvious that a large target has been placed on his back.
The sequel to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order was confirmed by EA and Star Wars back in January. The companies announced that Respawn would be leading development on the Fallen Order sequel, as well as two other titles, brining the total to three Star Wars games. The other two includes a strategy game and a first-person shooter. Before it was confirmed however, it was pretty much guaranteed the game would get a sequel. It sold over 10 million copies and EA even affirmed it would be investing in the franchise during an earnings call last year.
