Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order Sequel Might Be Called Star Wars Jedi: Survivor

The sequel to Star Wars Jedi: Fall­en Order is report­ed­ly being called Stars Wars Jedi: Sur­vivor, accord­ing to Grubb­snax host Jeff Grubb.

A view­er at the end of the May 12th, 2022 episode of Grubb­snax guessed the title of the game as part of a guess­ing game Grubb was play­ing with the chat. Once the prop­er name was guessed, Grubb asked if some­one had told them that before con­firm­ing the title he’s heard is Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.

This title would be rather fit­ting, when con­sid­er­ing the end­ing from the pre­vi­ous game. Cal Kestis, one of the sole remain­ing Jedi after the Great Purge, embarks on a long jour­ney that brings him toe-to-toe with Darth Vad­er at the end of it all. Though he does escape, it’s obvi­ous that a large tar­get has been placed on his back.

The sequel to Star Wars Jedi: Fall­en Order was con­firmed by EA and Star Wars back in Jan­u­ary. The com­pa­nies announced that Respawn would be lead­ing devel­op­ment on the Fall­en Order sequel, as well as two oth­er titles, brin­ing the total to three Star Wars games. The oth­er two includes a strat­e­gy game and a first-per­son shoot­er. Before it was con­firmed how­ev­er, it was pret­ty much guar­an­teed the game would get a sequel. It sold over 10 mil­lion copies and EA even affirmed it would be invest­ing in the fran­chise dur­ing an earn­ings call last year.
