During EA’s E3 conference, Star Wars Battlefront ΙΙ made an appearance, showing a bit of content and hinting at plenty of future updates. EA did finally reveal a more detailed roadmap on their Twitter. It appears the biggest updates will come later on in the fall and winter, while there will be smaller updates for July and August.
As you can see below, July will bring a new PvP mode called Hero Starfighters. It’s 4v4 and focuses solely on hero ship battles. Alongside the new mode, there are some general game improvements, like heroes being able to turn on their Lightsabers on and off. August’s update is smaller than July’s, however, improvements of any kind will be welcomed by the community.
Although fall and winter content is not as neatly outlined, there is still some real potential for good content later this year. No dates as to when the July and August changes will be made, although it’s most likely to release during the month in small segments.
