Sony Announces PS Blog’s 2021 Game Of The Year Winners

The polls for the PlayStation Blog’s Game of the Year 2021 have been closed for some time, with the winners being announced on the blog site. As stated in post, games were “neck and neck” for top spots during the voting period, with “last minute twists” changing placeholders right before the poll closings.

Those who went to PlayStation’s blog when the polls were open were able to pick for the following categories: Best New Character, Best Story, Best Art Direction, Best Soundtrack, Best Multiplayer Experience, Best Sports Game, Best Accessibility Features, Best Use of DualSense, Best Graphical Showcase, Best Re-Release, Independent Game of the Year, PS VR Game of the Year, PS4 Game of the Year, PS5 Game of the Year, Studio of the Year, and the Most Anticipated Game of 2022 and Beyond.

As you can tell from the above list, some of these are directly related to Sony’s PS5 console, including the use of the DualSense controller. Their awards are also based around the Trophy system, so there are technically four winners per category.

You can check out all the top-spot winners for the PS Blog in 2021, below:

I am a Platinum lover and an ex- Cod-aholic. I've been playing games since I was 5 years old and I refuse to quit, despite my mother's attempts to get me to. God of War and its successors are my all time favorite games.
