Square Enix officially revealed Shadow of the Tomb Raider today, as the last edition in the origin series. This title addition will be simultaniously released on all platforms, unlike a timed exclusive as before. After a supposed leak, a teaser trailer was released today, with a promise of more to come by April 27th. Square Enix also confirmed the release date as September 14th, 2018. You can see the trailer below, as well as the original story:

The latest addition to the revived Tomb Raider series looks to have been leaked today. On Tomb Raider’s official website, there is a date, which appears to be the announcement date for Shadow of the Tomb Raider.
However, the sites source code reveals a little more about this mysterious title. It appears it will be release on September 14th, 2018. It specifically states “Shadow of the Tomb Raider is the climactic finale of Lara’s origin story,” so this is, sadly, the last in the origin series.
The source code also dates a “reveal” time of April 27th. If the websites initial date is actually going to reveal Shadow of the Tomb Raider, the April 27th date could be a gameplay trailer release.
