Cap­com announced that Res­i­dent Evil RE: Verse, the com­pet­i­tive mul­ti­play­er, is releas­ing next month. The mul­ti­play­er-only game was includ­ed with Res­i­dent Evil Vil­lage, but was ulti­mate­ly delayed. Cap­com did not give a spe­cif­ic release date dur­ing their presentation. 

RE: Verse is a third-per­son shoot­er where play­ers con­trol their favorite heroes and bioweapons from Res­i­dent Evil’s his­to­ry. The game has been through a num­ber of beta peri­ods pri­or to release. RE: Verse fea­tures char­ac­ters like Claire Red­field, Leon Kennedy, Jack Bak­er, and many more.

Res­i­dent Evil Vil­lage has been doing real­ly well for Cap­com, sell­ing over 4 mil­lion copies, each one includ­ing a copy of RE: Verse. Cap­com also announced that Res­i­dent Evil Vil­lage has DLC that is cur­rent­ly in devel­op­ment.
