Resident Evil 7 Ships 2.5 Million Copies

Resident Evil 7 has finally been released, Taking the franchise back to its survival horror roots in a First person view seen for the first time in the series.

Publisher Capcom has announced that the latest release in the Resident Evil Series, Biohazard has shipped 2.5 million copies. That’s pretty impressive for a Resident Evil title, I am surprised by this because of the poor reception of Resident Evil 5 and 6.

Another interesting fact Capcom dropped today is that the Resident Evil 7 Biohazard demo has been download 7 million times! I for one enjoyed the demo and it seems others did too.

RE7 Biohazard has just released and is still being looked through with a finetooth comb for any secrets.

Capcom has the first batch of paid DLC coming in just a few days with a batch of free DLC coming for everyone who owns the game. A date for the free content release is not available right now.

All DLC is available included in the $30 season pass.
